The cost varies with the services selected. A batucada show starts from $479, cold sparks from $649, 360 photo booth from $549 and a professional DJ from $929. Many couples combine 2 to 3 services for different moments of the wedding (cocktail, reception, hora loca) with a total entertainment budget between $1,595 and $4,095.

For corporate events we recommend: Splash Drummers (high-energy visual impact), a professional DJ with an adaptable repertoire, a 360 photo booth (shareable content for company social media), batucada (crowd activation), cold sparks (climactic moments for awards) and an LED robot for gala events. The selection depends on the type of event: team building, annual gala, launch, Christmas party or convention.
Do you provide a formal corporate proposal and quote?
Yes. We issue formal corporate proposals with a breakdown of services, rates, installation schedule, technical requirements and contract terms. Response time depends on the scope and availability validation.

D'Show Events is an active member of ACEP. For references or specific corporate requirements, check with the team before confirming a proposal.
Do you carry liability insurance for corporate events?
Insurance requirements and certificates depend on the service and the venue. Include them in your request so the team can confirm the available documentation before you book.
Weddings
19How long does a Hora Loca last?
Themed packages are a 30-minute show with live music and four characters. If you want more time, we coordinate it with you based on your timeline and include it in your quote.
When does the Hora Loca happen at a wedding?
Usually between 10 PM and 1 AM, after dinner and the formal dances. Many couples schedule it at cake time or as the closing of the night. Our coordinators help you find the perfect moment for your timeline.
What does the Hora Loca include?
Each themed package includes live music and four characters: Boricua with Batucada or with Plenarepike (two stilt walkers, a cabezudo and a vejigante) and LED (Batucada LED or Plenarepike LED with a robot, butterflies and LED Girl). You can swap characters within the theme; if you choose a higher-priced one, you pay just the difference. Mirrors and Neon are quoted per event.

Quinceañeras
4What are the most popular entertainment services for quinceañeras in 2026?
Trending for quinceañeras in 2026: Cold Sparks during the waltz (spectacular and safe), a 360 Photo Booth for social media content, Splash Drummers as an opening show, batucada for the quinceañera's entrance, LED stilt walkers as ambient characters and a professional DJ for the whole night. The most requested combination is Cold Sparks + 360 Photo Booth + DJ.
How far in advance should I book entertainment for a quinceañera?
We recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance. Cold sparks and the 360 photo booth have dates that sell out quickly in high season (May to August, December). The date is reserved with a $125 deposit.
Are cold sparks safe for the quinceañera and her guests?
Cold sparks require prior approval from the venue, a review of ceiling height and ventilation, and operation according to the team's instructions and the applicable safety distances.
Can you provide entertainment for quinceañeras in Puerto Rico?
Yes, quinceañeras are one of our most common events. For quinceañeras we recommend: batucada or pleneros for the entrance, LED characters or stilt walkers for cocktail hour, and a 360 Photo Booth for the after-party. We have combined packages designed especially for quinceañeras.
Logistics
6How early do you arrive to set up the equipment?
Setup time varies by service: DJ (2-3 hours before), 360 Photo Booth (1-2 hours), Cold Sparks (45 min). We coordinate available access times with the venue.
How much time do you need to install the equipment before the event?
Setup time varies by service: professional DJ (2 to 3 hours), 360 Photo Booth (1 hour), Splash Drummers (2 to 3 hours including the water platform), Cold Sparks (30 minutes). For large corporate events with multiple services we recommend venue access 4 to 5 hours in advance.
Do pleneros need a special space at the venue?
No, pleneros are very versatile. A group of 4 to 6 musicians can perform in small spaces without additional sound equipment. They are ideal for gardens, cocktail lounges and outdoor spaces without amplification.
What are cold sparks and are they safe for indoor use?
Cold sparks (also called chispas frías or grandiose) are machines that produce spark-like bursts. Their use depends on venue approval, the manufacturer's instructions, ventilation and the applicable safety distances.
Does the 360 photo booth require a lot of space?
The 360 photo booth platform measures about 4 × 4 feet and the rotating arm needs a clear radius of 7 feet. In total we recommend a 10 × 10-foot area for comfortable operation, including the line. It fits most event halls in Puerto Rico.
Services
41How many musicians are in the group?
The base batucada includes four to five Puerto Rican musicians; the Batuplena Experience brings 5 who play plena and batucada in sequence. Pleneros and bomba are adjusted to the variant. All are professional musicians in full themed costumes.
How long is the musical set?
The classic set is 30 minutes per performance. For events with several moments (entrance, toast, closing) we coordinate additional sets at an extra cost, defined in the quote.
What is the difference between batucada, pleneros and bomba?
They are three Puerto Rican traditions. Batucada is high-energy, festive percussion; pleneros play Puerto Rican plena with panderetas; bomba is Afro-Puerto Rican dance and percussion. All our musicians are Puerto Rican. For maximum impact there is the Batuplena Experience, which combines batucada and plena.
Can you play outdoors or on the beach?
Yes, with one consideration: percussion instruments are sensitive to rain. We recommend having a covered area or tent available as a plan B. We coordinate in advance based on the weather forecast.
What areas does D'Show Events cover?
